Star Elastomeric Coupling

The Star Elastomeric Coupling is the standard model in Zhejiang Haineng Transmission Machinery's elastomeric coupling series. It is a general-purpose flexible coupling consisting of two metal half-couplings with claw teeth and a star-shaped polyurethane elastomer insert. Torque is transmitted through circumferential compression of the elastomer, which also absorbs vibration and shock loads. This coupling features simple construction, easy assembly and disassembly, and economical pricing. It is one of the most widely used flexible coupling types in industrial transmission applications, suitable for various small to medium-power general-purpose machinery.

The metal half-couplings are manufactured from high-quality carbon structural steel or alloy steel, with CNC-turned and milled claw teeth featuring smooth surfaces and uniform indexing. The standard elastomer operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C, offering good wear resistance and oil resistance.
